Crystal Healing - Working with Crystals

Crystal Healing involves placing crystals on the body which then helps to align the body’s energy centers and to release negative thought forms and energy. Crystal healing balances the mind, body and spirit allowing you to heal yourself from within.
Tips when using a Crystal Wand
Wands are used to massage the subtle body energies and release unwanted tensions. They also help to balance and realign the chakras.
Ask your client to lie down then you should sit by their side. You can begin at the feet with the wand held point outwards and making small anticlockwise small circling movements. No slowly work up the body. You may be aware that certain areas will feel different and where you instinctively may feel the need for the wand to move in a different way or direction, or where the wand feels heavy. At anytime you feel the need to change the wand's movement, then do so before returning to the normal movement.
On reaching the top of your clients head you should then reverse the wand so that the point faces inwards. Move down the body from the head to the feet, once again moving the wand in small circles but this time clockwise. This recharges the body's energy fields. Once again you may feel the need to change the wand's movement over certain areas, do so and then return to moving the wand in small clockwise circles.

Cancer & Crystals
It is best to let the client choose which stones they are drawn to however below are some helpful stones when working with clients with cancer.
- Carnelian the deeper the color the better
- red jasper - deep red
- Smokey quartz - have the client hold one in each hand during any session (especially helpful during chemo)
- Amethyst - deep dark is best in bed under the pillow and laying on the area
- Bloodstone - with plenty of red and good sized can be held in the hand when doing Reiki by the practitioner or the patient
- Selenite is another good stone to use when treating cancer. Selenite helps repair damage done by "free radicals" to cell membranes as well as to the cellular structure itself.
- Smokey Quartz. A very grounding stone, Smokey Quartz - reduces stress and relieves pain, this stone is also used as protective stone
